MedHQ, healthcare’s leading provider of advisory and administrative solutions to hospitals/health systems, outpatient healthcare/ambulatory surgery centers, and physicians/provider groups throughout the United States, is kicking off its annual support of the American Heart Association (AHA) by participating in the Heart Walk and pledging to raise $50,000 to combat heart disease.
Team members are participating in AHA Heart Walks and various heart healthy initiatives in Chicago, San Francisco, Wichita, and Philadelphia, all to support the Metro Chicago event on September 20, 2024. This national effort underscores MedHQ’s dedication not only to the health of their clients but also to the communities where employees live and work.
“Participating in the AHA Heart Walk aligns perfectly with the fact that we are a people-centric company supporting the health and wellness of our colleagues and communities across the country,” said Tom Jacobs, CEO of MedHQ. “We are excited to hit the pavement and raise significant funds that will contribute to the AHA’s life-saving research and educational programs.”
The AHA is a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives and in 2024 celebrates its 100-year anniversary. MedHQ invites all employees, partners, and community members to join their walking teams or support their fundraising goals. Every step taken and every dollar raised will help in the fight against heart disease, the nation’s number one killer.
