For the first year, MedHQ will be hosting the Heart of the Business Conference to underscore its commitment to how personal health impacts professional health and wellbeing. This conference aligns with the MedHQ team’s participation in the American Heart Association Heart Walk.
Heart of the Business Conference will focus on the importance of wellness in all aspects of personal and professional life with presentations on the importance of mental and physical health in your business, as well as coaching and enhancing employee engagement.
Spending seven years as a member of the American Heart Association Chicago Metro Board of Directors and now serving on several National Committees, MedHQ’s Chief Operating Officer, Rita Hernandez Figi is directing the planning and execution of the event, “MedHQ is committed to demonstrating how mental and physical health impacts the business. Business leaders will learn insights on how to incorporate health initiatives into their own workplace, and how focusing on wellbeing will positively impact their bottom line.”

In conjunction with the Heart of the Business Conference, MedHQ is participating in The American Heart Association Chicago Heart Walk on Friday, September 20, and is committed to raising $100,000 for the organization. MedHQ invites all participants in the conference to join them on the walk.
