MedHQ’s clients receive monthly financial statements the way healthcare managers find most useful. The primary audience for client accounting services consists of “internal” administrators, managers and executives, as well as ownership / member boards of directors. This distinction may be typically referred to as “Management Accounting”, as opposed to the “Financial Accounting” or “Tax Accounting” typically performed by CPA firms and other “outside” accountants. In addition, we include balance sheets and cash flow statements and key indicator and other reports for support board meetings, as well as perform bank account reconciliation. At tax time, our CPAs can prepare your taxes or assist your preparer with accurate financial data.
With a team of experienced healthcare consultants, you can trust MedHQ board packet reporting to be an accurate picture of your business’ current financial state. We understand the healthcare revenue cycle and how to prepare reports that are useful tools for managers and administrators. Our reports are flexible and can be tailored to each client’s specific needs. Plus, we are always available to answer questions and offer advice. Our management accounting services measure the key metrics your investors want to know.
At year-end, MedHQ will support the efforts of your outside accountants (including tax preparers and auditors) by sharing, as approved by our client, all information obtained and developed during the course of our CAS engagement.
